One of my most favourite scenes from Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. If you've read the book you'll know what it is, and who they are, and if you haven't then READ THE BOOK.

... now, go.

Shoo.

Watercolour, from year and a half ago again.

I've been wanting to do fanart for this book for so damn long, but yours is more than satisfying my urge... I'm gonna have to send your name the way of my various other JS&MN geek acquaintances, as they will love this.

Omg I remember seeing this in the JS&MN fanart community on lj! Absolutely one of my favorite books, if not THE favorite, and such beautiful art to do it justice. :)

This part in the book disturbed me lots about how he could be so calm to do that to Drawlight. You captured the moment very well, much  for your artwork! I especially love the way the vines are growing out of Drawlight, exactly like I imagined it!
